This app and website seems a lot smarter than another one I have previously used that also offers split ticketing. It also allowed me to choose my seats from a seating plan travelling on Av anti West Coast. Their very reasonable small fee for this service means that it is just not worth going to the extra bother of leaving the app to book the split journeys elsewhere separately to avoid the fee. Any split ticket is no risk on a direct train, but if changing trains, don't miss the connection!!!

The best booking engine for UK train tickets. Train Split provides (optionally) greater flexibility in choosing the ticket (the advanced and intensive search options are brilliant), and it often finds fares cheaper than Train line. The app is excellent, and I couldn't recommend it more strongly. Whatever app you use - don't use the TOC apps as you'll get the worst price (despite what they say)!

Check other sites before purchase. Charge quite a large fee for split tickets which is hidden away in small print. Otherwise a nice app though. I understand the fee (it is a fee that is paid above the cost of the tickets) but it's more than competitors and is not clearly stated It 100% is a fee

Thought this was a great idea, first search, the price on T²rain Split was nearly twice as much as National Rail! Didn't pick a commuter train, or a high speed service, to keep it sensible. Obviously no use in the SE at all. And, Train Split wanted me to go two hours later to get the optimum "saving". So a 9.30 am single on NR was 14 quid and TS was 25 at 11.30 am. Uninstalling.

The same prices as the other app, but without the customer support. I've just accidentally bought the wrong ticket to Brighton and I can't change my ticket, so I may be charged for using another train provider, even though the prices are exactly the same. Useless.

Prices are a bit transparent, if you compare prices with other companies that split tickets, you can sometimes get things even cheaper. Even so the cost of rail is unfair to society
