Lucky to escape a penalty fine ! Tried to book a journey I have made often using Train line. So I knew all the details already. Specifically, it's slightly cheaper to restrict Open Return ticket to one train operator only. But this app didn't tell me which train operator I would be using. It didn't tell me my ticket would be restricted to that one train operator only. It didn't offer me an option to pay an extra 5p to allow Any train operator ! Basic failures make this app unusable.

Would never use this app again. Made a booking and showed up fine. Arrived back in London to get my train and the app shows no tickets. No tickets purchased. Just my account information. Yet I can see the money has come out of the bank, and I have an email from them confirming the tickets. Back to the good old train line for me that not only works but actually was a cheaper option...

Rubbish the train I booked was cancelled so because of the terms and conditions I cannot change the ticket I have to claim the money back from south West rail and buy a new ticket, but I'm having to pay for the new ticket before I "maybe" get my refund! £40 down the drain 😪
