★★☆☆☆ I really wanted to like this program, thinking it would offer an easy way to add bold and/or italicized text to messages I write in Signal, similar to that awful WhatsApp. While it does indeed get the job done, it is ridiculously complicated to use. Instead of simply typing an asterisk before and after the desired characters needing to be "bolded", the user must open this app, type the sequence (ala-WhatsApp), copy the text into the buffer, then go back to Signal and paste it into the text field. Until this works "invisibly" within Signal itself, it's not worth all the bother.
