UseSoon: Food Use Planner

UseSoon answers one question: what should you eat or cook next? It puts everything you have in order of how soon it will spoil, so the thing that needs eating today is the first thing you see instead of being buried in a list you have to read.

It is made for adults and households who keep throwing away food they meant to use. Tell it what you have and when it is good until, and UseSoon does the deciding. It works without an account and keeps your food list on your device.

What you can do with UseSoon:
- Sort the use-first queue by urgency
- Get simple meal ideas based on common expiring ingredients
- Add fridge, freezer, cupboard, and leftover items
- Record expiry dates, opened dates, quantity, category, storage place, and notes
- See fresh, use-soon, used, and wasted status labels
- Search and filter your food list
- Share a plain-text item summary when you choose

UseSoon is a household organizer, not a food safety authority. Always follow food labels, storage instructions, local guidance, and your own judgement. If food smells unusual, looks unsafe, was stored incorrectly, or you are unsure, discard it.

Privacy and data:
Your food items and notes are saved on your device. The app includes an optional feedback form on the About Developer screen; feedback is sent only when you choose to submit it, and an email address is optional.
