Description
The new VA Video Connect application for Android expands VVC capability to Android users. VVC Android connects Veterans with their health care team from anywhere, using encryption to ensure a secure and private session. The app makes VA health care more convenient and reduces travel times for Veterans, especially those in very rural areas with limited access to VA health care facilities, and it allows quick and easy health care access from Android mobile devices.

It's nice and convenient but having to drive to the VA and have triggers from seeing other wounded Vets at the VA. The one on one with my therapist has really been beneficial when I actually do what she advises. I'm a work in progress but these check ins to remind me of my medication, diet and pain wellness helps a lot. Much more effective for me than a group session.

Connections are usually solid, audio & video issues are rare. But video window is not scalable (no pinch-zoom) so watching someone's screen share is not useful. If you anticipate needing to use screen share capabilities, then this app is not for you. You're better off using a Chrome browser for your VVC connections, so you can use pinch zoom on your screen.

Video connect is a helpful tool that is very useful without having to drive to the VA. When the situation is one where there is no need for a physical visit, Like a follow-up or an initial visit to see if a physical visit is needed! The doctors are very on top of your needs!

I have had to cancel several therapy appointments due to the new update. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared the Data, cleared the caches and still nothing. All I get is the blue screen to log in on. I've called IT, and they said "If you have an Android phone or a Samsung phone we know there are issues, and we don't have an ETA when this will get resolved." Thanks 5 really looking out for us veterans who actually need these appointments!

6 VA appointments without video conferencing, then the VA cancels the appointment....bs!!! You can uninstall and reinstall allowing all permission settings, and it still won't work...just a blue screen!!!
