This app isn't just for veterans. It's an app for anyone struggling with mental health. It's easy to navigate, there's multiple ways to manage your symptoms, and you can personalize it to match what you need and what helps. Ex: You need to calm down from a panic attack and ask to look at pictures that help you. You can import your own photos (I use events with friends or scenery that I liked) that helps you calm down and think of happier times. Start here.

I love that this app doesn't have pop-ups and ads. It helps to keep one focused on using coping strategies without unnecessary distraction.

Changed from 5* to 2*. The new app may look shiny from a developer's view but is much less useful for me. When I need support I don't need to go through screen after screen of options. I need to access the tools I need. The old app was easy to navigate. My anxiety actually increases trying to navigate to new app. I will use this until I find a better option. It feels like the redesign was done without users input. Very disappointed.

I was labelled by PTSD Coach as not having PTSD at all or at least not serious enough as my symptoms were not dramatic enough. Infact I suggested life long from c (chronic) PTSD due to emotional neglect in my childhood and teenage years and became kind of a people pleaser. PTSD Coach seems to focus more on very dramatic presentations rather than on inner reality. I found it not helpful for me.

They have a lot of activities but some of them move too fast, or the speaker sounds angry and aggressive, as opposed to calm. I noticed my anxiety increased after some of the activities. In contrast, I also have a lifetime membership to the Calm app and Headspace, and I find those mindfulness and meditation apps to be more beneficial than this one. I was recently diagnosed with PTSD and had high hopes for this app, but maybe it's geared more towards veterans who are used to taking orders
