You are not able to take a picture when logging food, you have to first take a picture and upload it after it is saved on the device

Not an optimal app and they seem extremely slow in updating anything. This review is only about the app, NOT the program or my coaches. The app crashes out a lot, and it is not user-friendly or intuitive. The AI functions are slow to "learn" and seeing a history of my foods would be a nice addition, along with water tracking. Going to stick it out though.

Horrible. Its AI infested with horrendous UI that coaches try to work around while being forced to push AI articles that are not applicable. It cannot log food, it cannot create video calls, and you cannot edit the "features" to turn off the notifications or inaccurate information. When frustrated I looked up why it exists, and I believe the "This was created to prevent companies from paying for GLP-1".

My employer forced us to switch from our PCPs to Virta for GLP-1 management, and it's been a nightmare. Communication is painfully slow, with 24+ hour delays that repeatedly delayed my prescription while new requirements kept appearing one at a time. They ignored my established treatment plan, reduced my dose because of delays they caused, and made decisions without considering my medical history. This is cookie-cutter healthcare, not patient-centered care.
