Description
VRS eezy.nrw ist Ihre App, um einfach mit Bus und Bahn in NRW unterwegs zu sein. Einfach einsteigen, nach rechts swipen und schon haben Sie ein gültiges Ticket für Bus & Bahn. Beim Aussteigen am Ziel wieder swipen und fertig. Der Fahrpreis wird nach Beendigung der Fahrt angezeigt. Dabei wird immer die kürzeste Entfernung (Luftlinie) zwischen Einstiegs- und Ausstiegshaltestelle berechnet. Es spielt keine Rolle, wie viele Stopps Sie im Verlauf der Fahrt einlegen oder ob Sie zwischen Regionalzügen, S-Bahnen, U-Bahnen, Bussen und Straßen- bzw. Stadtbahnen umsteigen.
So funktioniert's:
1. Vor der ersten Fahrt einmalig in der App registrieren. Wenn Sie bereits ein Kundenkonto für die VRS-, KVB-, REVG-, RVK- oder Wupsi-App haben, können Sie die „VRS eezy.NRW“ App mit Ihrem bestehenden Kundenkonto nutzen.
2. Vor dem Einsteigen ins Fahrzeug einfach den Pfeil-Button in der App nach rechts swipen, um einzuchecken. Die Endstation spielt keine Rolle. Die App wird Ihren Standort auch verfolgen, wenn sie sich im Hintergrund befindet, um zu ermitteln, welche Fahrtstrecke Sie zurücklegen.
3. Werden Sie kontrolliert, einfach auf „Ticket anzeigen“ klicken und den Barcode in der App vorweisen.
4. Am Ziel angekommen, zum Auschecken in der App erneut nach rechts swipen. Die Kosten für die Fahrt werden angezeigt. Sie zahlen bequem per SEPA Lastschrift, Kreditkarte oder PayPal.

Very good and easy to use. And the tickets are cheaper than in the machine. Sometimes it froze when I tried to check in inside the ubahn. Now I always check in some minutes before entering the ubahn, and it is all fine. It does not charge me more for logging in minutes before entering the transportation.

Update: Tested rides and it's very easy. The cost is almost same as shown in fare calculator. However, It would make more sense to integrate price calculator within the App. Moreover, it is not at all user-friendly and rather looks scary because of plain screen. Used few times and didn't have any problems. Also, you can't add additional passenger during the checkout

Cannot use the app. After installing app comes up with a message that my device has been manipulated. Maybe it's because it's an Android Huawei phone.

The idea is good. Sadly first time I used it, the ticket through eezy was more expensive than a normal kvb ticket...which is simply ridiculous. Uninstalled straight away, and will use the kvb app which is really just as easy, if not easier (use your phone once) than this kinda sneaky app.

The only good thing here is PreisBremse at €49. Apart from that I find it very expensive! In my town: usual TagesTicket (all day long!) - €4.60. But I do not see any Eezy Tages Tickets! And with Eezy one way +/- €2.40. And IF you simply forget to check out - one way ticket can cost about €3.80 (sad experience). Don't the managers understand that this is killing their project? Plus you always need internet, and sometimes it is bad even at railway stations.
