Wärtsilä iSailor is an easy-to-use navigational system developed for the amateur seafarers. Intended for use on boats and yachts, iSailor provides a clear presentation of navigation information and electronic charts. Transas own TX-97 vector chart format supported by iSailor is recognized worldwide as one of the most accurate and reliable sources of navigational information.
Available Chart Folios cover coastal and offshore waters of North America, Latin and South America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Far East, Asia, Australia & New Zealand. All chart folios can be selected, purchased and downloaded via the Wärtsilä iSailor app using its Chart Store section.
Purchased chart folios includes a one year Chart Updates subscription service of your chosen coverage. At the end of one year you can choose to renew your Chart Updates subscription service or continue to use the charts you previously purchased and downloaded.

Great application. But lack of some function available on IOS such as DTG to custom Waypoint, Custom Speed to calculate ETA to required WP, Bearing and Distance on leg of the route. Strongly advice to Create Isailor account to migrate between Android and IOS. Otherwise we have to purchase charts again if we migrate between Android and IOS. That is waste of money.

Still a great app now working on Android 10 but still supporting my old 4.4 tablet as well. Clean easy to see day and night, good charts, though now quite expensive for the UK. Great AIS display. A great standby navigation app An ability to import marks rather than just routes would be appreciated. Only annoying feature is that the app requires frequently reopening which is slow and the disclaimer reaffirming. Good support.

Why can't I even start using the app because it needs to have access to 1) my storage (photos) and 2) my phone (calls, contacts). These are not necessary for using an app for navigation. Can you please explain!

The app could be great only if it got faster updates!Android 11 is already out for quite some time and there is still no compatibility to it!also there are some stability issues regarding connection to AIS-es and unfortunately still no support for class A AIS Position Sensor!
