It works great except you can't control it to where when you first turn it on the light doesn't go on as well

This app actually works really great. I amost never use my remote because of it. I bought 3 fans on a whim, was delightfully surprised at how streamlined the setup, Wi-Fi connection and interface is. Well done WAC.

I wanted to balance these other reviews with my own. I purchased a WAC fan, and it worked first time out of the box with the Bluetooth remote. Since I recently installed the app, I had no issues connecting to my home network and controlling the fan through the app. It works every time I use it. Where I did run into issues was with the Alexa integration. It simply would not work. So I contacted support via email and admittedly then never answered at first. However, I reached out via FB, and they then responded promptly. It took some back and forth and experimenting, but they were finally able to identify and fix the problem. The tech support team were excellent and went above and beyond to remain in contact. I realize that everyone is going to have their own experiences (good and bad) but I thought it only fair to share a good one because most of the time we only hear the negative.

It doesn't work. I bought the app, and it still doesn't work. Very disappointed. I've got a fan on the porch that I can't use because supposedly the only control is with the remote control. It doesn't work. Also, my review apparently can't be used because it needs to be 100 words. So far I only have 57 words. So if I just continue to repeat myself about how disappointed I am with product as long as I reach 100 words maybe they will allow my review to be seen by future customers who are considering purchasing this product. So now I've reached 100 words. And still this website is not allowing me to submit my review.

WAC app has ceiling fans going crazy Has WAC Play app been hacked. It's not connecting proper my 2 smart ceiling fans. I set one speed and the ceiling fans speed up and then slow down and then don't respond to the setting change at all. Fix the connectivity from the app and get my rating increased

The fan is awesome, the app is. Middling. And the Google Home integration fails to work at all. Installed several, tried multiple Wi-Fi vendors and every 2.4 GHz channel. Don't buy these fans for their connectivity (the fan itself is nice, albeit with a pretty chintzy remote).

Horrible app, always disconnecting. Nice fan but don't even bother if you want to connect it with Google Home. Useless.
