I mostly had the best dog walking experiences using Wag, for my very large, but very lovable dog. The best dog walker was Diane C. Me and my dog absolutely fell in love with her and would try to only book with her. 10/10 recommend using Diane C. (If you live in Bergen County, NJ). Other walkers were also great. Only 1 or 2 were not. But if/when I get another dog, I will absolutely be using Wag again.

I hired a sitter on 8/5 and 8/6/2026. The sitter I selected broke my touchless faucet in my kitchen. I reported it to Wag on the 7th when I came back, and they said someone will be in touch. I haven't heard anything back even though I requested for them to contact me immediately. I have cameras throughout the outside and hidden ones on the inside, so I saw everything. Damaging property is a serious issue and for them not to contact me is ridiculous. I had to spend $300 today replacing it.

The App is kind of good, but today I learned that Wag takes 40 percent of the money exchanged between client and worker. By comparison Rover takes 20 percent. Wag also forces pet sitters to bid towards the bottom essentially preventing people using the system for earning a fair percentage of their wage. And before their admin people jump on here I have a Master's in Administration, and I've been a part of several organizations and the cut they take is criminal.

The app logged me out, I was unable to get back in leading me to not being able to contact the caregiver, once I got back into the app the boarding was gone. They probably thought I wasn't going to show, but I was already on my way. I had to almost miss a business trip due to not being able to board my dog.

There are no people. It is all AI. If you send a message, it will go to AI; if you ask for a person, it will go to AI; if you ask for a person to reach out to you, it will be AI. There is no human being to help if anything goes wrong with your walker. App rarely works. IMO a dangerous option for your pet.
