COMMON QUESTIONS

Does WealthSnap need an internet connection?
No — all core financial tracking works fully offline. Internet is only used for optional AI features or currency rate lookups.

Is any of my data ever uploaded anywhere?
Your financial data stays on your device and is never uploaded. The only exception is if you turn on an optional AI feature with your own API key — then only the specific data for that feature (e.g. a receipt photo) is sent to Google.

Can I move my data to a new phone?
Yes, via encrypted backup/restore or CSV/TSV export.

Is this free?
Yes, fully free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
