Comments on Wiser by SE for Android

★★★★☆ Andy Trestrail · Jul 22, 2024

An outdoor motion sensor would be a good addition to the range along with a temp sensor that could be used for hot water cylinders and pools etc.

★★★★★ Martin Kankaanranta · Sep 9, 2024

I have been using this app now quite long and its getting better all the time. Cannot wait to see new devices that are coming. I have few schneider devices and behind third party zigbee gw tons of other devices.

★★★★★ Voodoo Kroni · Sep 7, 2023

I have installed multiple items from the Wiser series. Connected points, connected switches, dimmers, the automation is easy to set up and brings an unparalleled smart system to your whole house.

★★★★★ Martin Kankaanranta · Jan 30, 2024

So far amazing experience with Wiser devices and with other gateway zigbee devices. Have been able to use one app for everything. Now testing few floor heating thermostats and automation is working perfectly!

★☆☆☆☆ Andrew Lean (Drew) · Feb 17, 2024

Complete confusion reigns supreme with this App. How does one integrate Cbus wired devices via Cbus's Wiser2 controller with this ZigBee alternative. Has SE have depreciated Wiser2 ... Only a matter of time before the ZigBee variant follows suit. I have returned my Ionic ZigBee for a refund.

★★☆☆☆ Ali's calendar · May 9, 2024

Hate having to log in to access my towel rail & having to upgrade towel rail software, it's not internet banking, it's a freaking towel rail!!!

★☆☆☆☆ Grant Morison · Aug 29, 2025

After a number of years service, I want to adjust a wiser time switch via app Bluetooth. It appears the old version firmware cannot be upgraded with the new software, so this new software won't communicate with the device-why is this not backward compatible?? And it looks like the old wiser room app no longer exists. me thinks 'wiser' is a misnomer.

★☆☆☆☆ Cristine Fernandez · Jul 18, 2024

The schedule on and off time doesn't work. I have to be near the switch to turn the lights on and off which defeats the purpose of it being Bluetooth. Very disappointed and dissatisfied

★☆☆☆☆ SK SK (SK) · May 9, 2025

The app is extremely slow and buggy, I have to tap multiple times on a button to turn it on or off. The app doesn't even update properly, needs the screen always on to update (how stupid is that). I wish I knew about the app before I bought the smart PowerPoint. Just get better please!
