I had a lot of problems after upgrading, but I found these were caused by conflicts with Google Home. After removing the 'Works with Google' Wiser link in Home, the app works fine again. Maybe the devs could investigate automatically removing the link to Google after an update to force deleting and re-establishing the link?

It could do with a makeover, but otherwise it functions as I would like. Initially I found that the heating was being cycled on and off too often when close to the set temperature. After reading online forums, I found I could change it to open therm mode, even though open therm wiring isn't present. This makes it behave like a regular on/off thermostat which is how I like it. An app setting would be preferred though with more explanation what the settings do

Good app, lets me do everything I need to do with the central heating and hot water. However, there doesn't appear to be an option to add a family member, so they can also control the heating from their phone, unless I'm missing something....

So glad I looked on here for the reviews - I was just about to spend £300+ on a hub, thermostat and radiator valves. Looking elsewhere now. Shame tho, it would have been the easiest for me to install as I have the Dayton backplates etc. on my current system. Sounds like the latest update has screwed everything and the company does stock reply about contacting support instead of listening. I will stay away now.

I bought wiser for the tight open therm integration, the app is mostly ok and the support is excellent. There is no heating OFF button, instead there is a 'away mode'. Sometimes when I hit the plus button it shows "decreasing" for the temp!! Which is poor software engineering. If you change your Wi-Fi or router and put the hub into setup mode and connect your app to it - can can't edit the Wi-Fi network!! Like, seriously!!

If you're reading this before purchasing the product, please avoid. Wiser was forced upon me when we moved. Support is non-existent and acts as if everything is caused by connectivity or battery issues. My experience is the products are poor quality and incredibly badly updated. How has heating a home become so difficult? Just to clarify following response from supplier: I live in a tiny home with full fiber, boosters included as connectivity for job is crucial. Product does not perform. Simple.
