The Witt Control app connects your smartphone to your Witt SmartSousVide cooker through your home Wi-Fi. The app lets you easily start, stop, set the timer and monitor the temperature of your cooking.

We have made it even easier for you to get started with cooking Sous Vide with a visual list of temperatures of different kinds of meat and vegetables. Just find your preferred cooking, hit the button and start cooking.
Sous Vide is a cooking method that involves cooking raw ingredients for a long time at lower temperatures than traditional cooking methods - typically between 45-85º C. The ingredients are vacuum sealed in a plastic bag together with herbs or spices, and lowered into water held at a constant temperature throughout the cooking process.

The update, just completely turned this app around... It went from utterly useless to sleek, fast and actually functional! Thank you! We were previously very disappointed with the app, but good job fixing it :)

Edit: not useable semi-pointless. What is the purpose of the app when you have more features on the actual device, such as delay before the device start or similar? I changed main description from "pointless" to "semipointless" though, as it now seems like the device can be accessed from anywhere, whereas before it was only from within the same network. Edit: used the app for cooking. It kept beeping like crazy that the device was up to temperature. NOT USEABLE.

Really bad.followed all the instructions, turned the machine on and off, held both + and - depressed for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi icon started blinking, but the app will not find the sous vide. What's the point of an app that doesn't connect to the machine it is being sold with?

Way to many unnecessary permissions required. Slow performance. Unable to connect device to Wi-Fi. Basically totally useless app when the Wi-Fi part of the device doesn't work.
