Wood forest has been such an amazing bank to work with. The staff at the Lenoir, NC branch are by far the best especially Lisa. She always makes sure she says hello to me even if she's busy. You cannot go wrong doing business here, work, personal, teen or business. They got you covered.

They have been great compared to chase online banking, they accept strangers but the client jumps through hoops and sometimes blocks you even after verifying through 3 people for chase your info they say sorry call back tomorrow. 4 days of this through chase, not happy almost lost $370 for nothing but wanted me to do the leg work for them not happy after 35 yrs or so as a customer

I'll be brutally honest about the bank itself. If you try to deposit a check into your account from a new customer, it'll take 7 days to clear, the bankers say. I deposited a check on August 22, 2026, it had just cleared. It took 10 darn days. I don't do business like this. The check was for $150 and been bringing checks to them for a year. I'm a small business owner. It's not about the money it's about business. I pay for them to deal with me already monthly.

This is the only bank I've used since 2011, and I'm not liking all the new charges I'm getting. I live paycheck to paycheck and always make sure I don't go into the negative... now I'm getting a service charge when my account is too low, which puts me into the negative, and if I don't catch it in time, I get hit with another charge for being in the negative!! I'm about to quit this bank.

The rebuild credit doesn't work people I participated for about 5 years wood forest wasted my time... example I used the money paid it back on time for years. Like I said Wood forest bank wasted my time.if anyone needs a copy I'll be glad to send it
