I banked with Wood forest in Front Royal VA for 5 or 6 years. Everyone knew my name, they were very friendly and bent over backwards to provide great service. When I moved to the Richmond area, I was pleased to find a Wood forest branch in the local Walmart. I'm not there as often because of direct deposit, but they're starting to warm up.

They have been great compared to chase online banking, they accept strangers but the client jumps through hoops and sometimes blocks you even after verifying through 3 people for chase your info they say sorry call back tomorrow. 4 days of this through chase, not happy almost lost $370 for nothing but wanted me to do the leg work for them not happy after 35 yrs or so as a customer

Horrible bank. Won't do business with them again because they said im a threat to national security even though I only work in a warehouse.

This is the only bank I've used since 2011, and I'm not liking all the new charges I'm getting. I live paycheck to paycheck and always make sure I don't go into the negative... now I'm getting a service charge when my account is too low, which puts me into the negative, and if I don't catch it in time, I get hit with another charge for being in the negative!! I'm about to quit this bank.

The rebuild credit doesn't work people I participated for about 5 years wood forest wasted my time... example I used the money paid it back on time for years. Like I said Wood forest bank wasted my time.if anyone needs a copy I'll be glad to send it
