I think it's Chinese spyware, but they have to have something to keep them busy. It's really for a cheap not so smartwatch.

I like the watch itself, but the app is garbage. It constantly runs in the background even if your watch is dead. I tried turning off the Bluetooth, but it still runs in the background constantly attempting to connect to the watch. It's not possible to force stop the app, it's ever present in the background like malware. I'm going to have to play with the developer settings on my phone to see if I can restrict its activities, but I shouldn't have to do that.

Newest update 2.0.5 is broken on Samsung S24. It won't stay connected to the watch, constantly disconnects and reconnects over and over. Had to revert to previous version which works fine apart from the watch face gallery which is showing nothing on refresh. Please take a look at the 2.0.5 app as it's not usable at all.
