With the recent update the app takes up the entire phone screen but doesn't hide the navigation at the bottom or notification bar at the top so some buttons cannot be pressed.

Such a frustrating experience. We've been using the retouch 5 for 9 months now. Despite both the app and the console being connected to the same Wi-Fi with strong signal, and updated to latest versions, the app often can't 'find' the console device. It works one minute then doesn't the next.

The most concerning issue is that the phone app is unstable. Error message indicating device is unavailable comes up too frequently. Only recourse is to use the wall monitor. Restarting the app doesn't resolve the issue. Very random. The user manual is too basic and hence not that helpful. Example - changing the button batteries. The manual indicated to remove the monitor/tablet from the wall base...but no illustration or any write-up on how to actually remove it from the base.
