WORKS WITHOUT A SIGNAL Your altitude is read directly from your device's GPS and barometric pressure sensor, so the reading keeps working with no cell signal and no Wi-Fi — out in the backcountry, in the mountains, or on a trail far from coverage. No account and no sign-up to get started.
GPS + BAROMETER, FUSED When your device has a pressure sensor, the app combines it with GPS for a steadier, more responsive elevation reading, and shows you which source is active. A clear source label keeps the reading honest.

PRIVACY Location is used only for the live altitude reading on your device. It is not stored, transmitted, or shared, and the app keeps no record of where you have been.
