Your provider will send a request to connect with you for a video consultation. You simply tap your invitation link to go straight into your video call with the Touchpoint app. No login is required for users accessing this video call functionality.

For providers with a health system login, Amwell Touchpoint app provides the ability to:
* Launch secure, HIPAA-compliant video consultations using Amwell Connect * Receive automated notifications when new cases are assigned * Review case details and the patient’s medical history
The Amwell Touchpoint mobile app is a component of our comprehensive telehealth suite that enables:
* Video calling, including both simple SMS/email guest invites to patients at home as well as controlling video endpoints within the hospital. * Coordination across multiple point-of-care locations and service lines with secure messaging and case workflow * Automation of alerts and escalations * Integration with EHR and IT systems to minimize disruptions to workflow * Act as a video and phone dialer with Epic Haiku/Canto. * Active monitoring of point-of-care devices

Wow!! What a time saver!!!! The app worked really well. The Dr. & I were able to communicate w/each other well. Initially my Android phone didn't support the call. I had 2 min to download the AW Touchpoint app & get to the appropriate place in the app for my appt. I was pleasantly surprised that I was successfully able to do so. If you're doing virtual for the first time, be sure the Dr.'s office gives you the app name & link ahead of time (perhaps day before appt) to avoid last min scramble.

I was impressed that the video quality is clear with no lag. Felt like a Skype call which is a good thing. 👍 Lastly, it would be great if it had more options for the camera view tho

Multiple attempts to use it failed. Multiple attempts to test it resulted in a message that it fails. Piece of junk. Intermountain Healthcare and Select Health out of Salt Lake City, Utah only compound people's stress with their incompetence and inability to connect patients with doctors via this poorly designed, programmed and tested app.

It's awful. I have Wi-Fi and had a strong connection and even downloaded the app, and it kept freezing and bad connection
