Comments on Bosch EasyAir for Android

Bosch did the impossible and made a working thermostat app. After the inevitable glitches at launch of course. But as of right now, after 2 years of problems, the app and thermostat are actually working as intended. Let's see how long these lasts.

Easy-to-use. It's so much better than the old app. I've had it for a while now, and it's been dependable. I haven't had trouble connecting once.

★★☆☆☆ Joshua Pace · Nov 17, 2025

As much money as I spent on my heat pump system, I expected the app controlling it to at least be usable. Considering how large and successful Bosch is internationally, this app is abysmal. It crashes constantly and is not user-friendly. The experience with both the app and thermostat honestly gives me pause in recommending a Bosch heat pump system, even though the unit itself works very well. There’s no excuse for such a poor-functioning app.

★☆☆☆☆ Frank Denisac · May 20, 2024

This app is a big step BACKWARDS. The app does not have a dark mode, making it look like a cheap app. Schedules are much harder to set. The screen showing the temperature only shows the current temp. & current set point. It does not show the next change temp. & time. You would need to go to schedule & edit to get that info. Once you update to this app, you can not return to the older version app!! The older version "Bosch Connected Control" app is a much, much better & improved app & it worked!
