Worked for a while. Now, as soon as you open the app, it gets stuck on "License Agreement Updated" screen with a bunch of gibberish. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. App installed on ZFold7. Update: Issue was corrected.

Awesome quality dimmer switches. They work with nearly all LED lights with no flicker. With some non-dimmable bulbs there is a little flicker. The only issue is once in a great while the dimmer won't turn on or off as it loses connection to my Google router. After asking Google to turn it on/off then it works fine after Google says it's temporarily unavailable. If it wasn't for that 5+ stars.

Generally it's a good app and the accompanying devices strike a good balance between affordable and functional. There aren't very many resources to help with learning functionality, but the customer service was really helpful. It turns out the sunrise and sunset scheduling features are actually tuned to civil twilight rather than actually sunrise and sunset times which was a little confusing.

Bright layer was working fine since April, until dimmer switch started to be listed as "unresponsive" on the app. Like another review stated, manually adjusting the dimmer switch would update the status on the app. After a reinstallation the app can't connect to, or create a new home now.

At the time of this review, the Bright layer app will not connect to Google home for control of Eaton Smart Breakers (which is the only reason I purchased a smart breaker to begin with). App seems fine, but there was just no way to determine that the Smart Breakers were unsupported until I purchased and installed a quite expensive breaker. I hope that Breakers will be included in future updates but even if they are, I'm not sure how I would be able to tell without randomly trying to install it.

The switches are nice. But the app is horrible. They need to make a Matter or Home Assistant integration and leave it at that.

Installed app. Cannot successfully register with this app even to begin to configuring Wi-Fi on first Eaton switch installed. Had 47 more to go. Tried 3 different email accounts to register the app, yet never received a verification code at any of them. Tried calling technical support, but couldn't reach them either. Had 47 more of these devices to install, but will be returning them all. Don't anybody have time for such clown products!
