Having not rented via an agent for a dacade, things had clearly moved forward. I was a little overwhelmed at the thought, a renter passport - huh, a what now?? But the app was real easy and simple to use, along with being fast at sending reference requests and confirming salary etc.

Most landlords won't actually take this. The rent tracking feature doesn't work consistently and if you don't catch that the app didn't register a payment within 2 weeks they won't update it. Hurts your credit score because of their bad algorithm. Canopy grow is also such a scam, paid for it for a year and no improvement to my credit score.

I downloaded the app to help improve my credit score with my monthly rent payments. It wouldn't accept my address saying it was the wrong format. Well, you designed the address format, not me. I have lived there for quite some time. So I can assure you I've got my address right. And you're going to monitor my rent when you won't accept my address. How are you going to do that? And won't accept my bank details. So a waste of time.

Pretty poor experience marked by malfunctioning features and uncertainty. Open banking failed to work: I was informed of an error that it "needed 3 months or more", even though I could see the last three months of relevant transactions correctly had been imported and displayed. The ID upload did not work at all. I had to "opt out of uploading ID" just to get the process to complete, because nothing - not passport, driving license - worked. Delays, uncertainty, stress - frustrating.

Awful app. Terrible to use, layout and buttons are rubbish. Also, the app emailed me telling me I'd successfully got a property, a move in date and a tenancy even tho I hadn't. Absolute trash. don't use
