For now, I'm using only the free lessons to supplement my learning while focusing on apps with Mexican Spanish options. For me, the different verb tenses and pronunciations are confusing. But Monday has such an engaging, visual design and learning structure that I love! I will buy a lifelong membership if they create a Mexican Spanish option. Or maybe after I build confidence in recognizing the basic differences between the dialects.

Monday is probably the first language learning app and still the best app for this category and at least they have a lot of distinct features from the other apps their only problem is maybe bad marketing and don't add a little gamification. Monday is one level above Busuu, Cake, and Duolingo. They should try to change design and replacement in the app

So I just used the free trial for Afrikaans, and when I deleted it before the trial even finished, it kept on trying to transact, yet it was deleted, so I had to freeze my account because I didn't have money thanks modly ๐

If you're starting from a scratch, this app will make you frustrated. F.e. there's a specific lesson for pronouns, except it is like the 5th theme even though you obviously need pronouns almost immediately when learning. Learning to say "I have a dog" is quite a bit clearer if you at least know the word I. The order of the lessons is not logical at all and to me, it makes it hard to learn anything. Just to mention, the pronouns themed lesson is mostly everything else except the pronouns.

Ok, but they really need to work on the speaking part. The app has a very hard time hearing short words and it gets extremely frustrating. It even has problems hearing yes/no in English when it asks if I want to continue. Any short words in any language. The speaking lessons are also too slow but that is minor compared to the sound input problems for short words. I would not consider paying for the app until this has been resolved. UPDATE: the problem is so bad I've had to lower my score to 1.

For the Dannish language app can provide only very basic lessons. Even though I pointed out that I am at the advanced level and that I can support conversation, it still provides lessons with simple basic words
