Description
Copilote is Québec City’s urban transportation mobile app. The secure payment service allows you to pay for any parking spot linked to a pay station at no extra cost, whether it’s on the street or in a parking lot. With Copilote you can also add parking time from anywhere, without having to go back to the pay station.
To use Copilote for the first time, you’ll need to: • Sign up for the application’s payment service and add a credit card to your account
When you park on the street or in a City parking lot equipped with a pay station, you’ll need to: • Enter the number of your parking spot • Select the desired amount of time and pay the corresponding amount
With Copilote, you can also: • Find an available parking spot in real time • Receive a notification a few minutes before your parking time expires • See your transaction history
Please note that when searching for parking spots, the app uses your device’s GPS. This continuous GPS use can drain your battery.

Best parking app I've ever used in Quebec. No extra convenience fees, actually allows you to stack on the time you already paid for. I started with two hours and added 30 minutes every time I needed since I kept exploring longer. 4 hours cost me 4 hours (vs other apps that charge extra and take away leftover time).

Useless in Quebec City. Spent an hour trying to configure; defaults to French. Cannot get English until you register. Provided no convenience. Product worked so poorly, it took me 30 mins to delete my credit card from the system. Sketchy.

They don't tell you which spots are allowed or not. I can't understand all French language signs, and they had a special exclusion apparently for a spot. The ville de Quebec had no issue billing me for a spot and then giving me a ticket anyway. If you're closing a parking spot, put it in the app rather than ruining our trip
