After initial install, I needed to add a Wi-Fi extender closer to the Daikin wireless adaptor. Prior to this I had to keep reconnecting the Daikin to my home Wi-Fi. Possibly inferior Wi-Fi antennas in the Daikin adaptor rather than issues with the app itself. Running without dropouts now. The app is intuitive and easy to use, and includes most of the features on the Daikin control panel, except Simple 7 Day Timer and Multi 7 Day Timer. Out-of-Home is a nice feature and works well.

Allows much easier control of Daikin Ducted AC inside the home as well as remotely. Fan speed graphic could be larger for easier distinction between Auto and Manual settings. Tablet Mode (i.e. landscape option) would be a great addition to allow for "Control" and "Zones" Buttons to be visible simultaneously, rather than via 2 separate tabs. Love the timer and Zone Rename functions, again far easier than via the Panel itself.

Upgraded from the Skyfi module / App. Much faster and cleaner app. I have a ducted system and was able to see the outside temp previously on the Skyfi app but isn't shown on this app. Would be great if this could be enabled.

When it works the app is bad, very basic, unable to set a schedule and the integration with Google home is horrendous to say the least. The server has been down for several days limiting only to local Wi-Fi for control.

Of all the smart home products I have used and configured over the years, this has to be the sh*tt*est product to ever exist. Took 30 mins and several tries just to get it to do the firmware update when adding the controller. 2 hours later and the app can't see the device on the Wi-Fi network. Avoid at all costs.

Very ordinary, works when it wants to. Clock has been wrong from day 1 and although sync time with mobile is on, it still has wrong time on the head unit so if I set a timer it's always wrong. Connectivity is poor, overall the app needs substantial improvement and it's quite clunky. I'm surprised that a company of this size is not concerned by all the bad reviews and has still not addressed even some of the basic concerns raised here. Come on Daikin, your customers are giving you feedback.
