Does what it says on the box, and their data retention and usage policies read as following industry best practice which is good to see (your details are never shared and are stored as an encrypted value. When a verification request is made, the requestor values are encrypted and compared to see if the values match, so for example your actual address is never stored or shared).

Sometimes necessary and this app will, providing you have the required documentation, satisfy government requirements of certified identity. Uploading a passport e.g. you'll still need to visit Australia Post to prove it's your passport etc. I, personally, would then delete the app as per deletion steps as the info contained in this app SHOULD NOT be available to other apps or ANYBODY ELSE WHATSOEVER. Forgot my pin and requested a PIN change. The app said it will SMS me a New Pin in 24 HOURS! 24 Hours later, I entered the temp pin but the app doesn't accept it! Now waiting for temp pin #2.

I went to Australia Post and all was in good working order for the first hour, displaying KeePass bar code & photo I then tried to open again an hour later & cannot log in & asking me to start the whole process again & even deleted the downloaded the app again & when I attempt to do this it prompts me that my phone number is an existing account? Any suggestions would be appreciated, cos I'm now concerned my details are all to see except me

Disgusting client service. App crashes and tells you your account is suspended when it is a technical issue on Outpost end. So you check that it is updated and the app says "Service Unavailable". You pay for a police check which Outpost states on its website that it can be verified for ONE YEAR after application by scanning the QR CODE. Prospective employers scan it, and it comes up with an error message "document no longer available for verification". Treat your customers with RESPECT Outpost.
