Notifications do not work, otherwise good. I could imagine two improvements. The app sometimes even after not active for a long time shows the account for a second before logging out and asking to log in. Also, the app uses the same login procedure for 2FA authentication of a secondary device and for logging in here - which could be made safer. Otherwise, still better than most bank apps I have used.

Samsung pay not available for hsbc au app. Now and then app has bugs. Not as comprehensive as other banking apps like westpac and comm bank. A little bit of a clunky interface.

Poor - complains of other apps that have nothing to do with it and are known to be safe. It's overreach, over the top "security" which is misinformed. It makes HSBC unusable. Fortunately others bank apps do work fine, so I'll use those.

No option to filter in statements, date and details of transactions is incorrect, not user-friendly to navigate, very disappointing in comparison to other banking apps used previously. I am hoping there is a major upgrade coming soon...

Extremely slow processing Bank. BPAY into HSBC CC and Big4 CC at same time. Takes a day more to receive into HSBC. Inter account HSBC transfers take 1-2 days! This is instant in any other Bank but not HSBC. Takes 1–2 days for it to clear funds transferred from an HSBC everyday account to the CC! App is clunky with no features like CBA.
