Incomparably better than any of the Australian domestic banks. I can transact without constant blocks/locks/suspensions. Depositors treated with courtesy and respect. Excellent interest rates. Wide range of services. App so easy to use. Bitterly disappointed to hear HSBC is exiting retail banking in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore. Bugger!

HSBC were probably the best Retail Bank in Australia. Since the announcement of the sale of their retail operations to Blackstone, the American asset stripper, after hours app support, chat and voice support has become chaotic, either with bots pretending to be human or Indian Hindu idiots who go round and round in circles until you're cut off, having got nowhere. Worse than useless. None of this is the fault of the wonderful Branch staff who will lose their jobs. I'll be closing my HSBC Acco

Blocks me using the app if I have any other apps with screen overlay permission enabled, this is very rude. It's the only banking app that does this, and I'm with 5 other banks and have been with another 2 or 3 in the past. HSBC has the worst internet banking, worst mobile app, and possibly the worst branch experience too. They are also scamming us with their no international fees claim by converting currency at a 3% worse rate than Visa/Mastercard agreed rate. I want to leave HSBC.

Useless app. Won't run on my Vivo Android phone. Called HSBC support who said that there's nothing wrong with the app, and I'd have to buy a new phone! Easy to see why they're quitting Australia.

Can't log into my account as OTP won't send. Even when logged in the past, there were many issues with compatibility with other apps.

My accounts where blocked, l lost over 800 dollars Thur a scam l could not clam and l had to change my pension deposit because HSBC would not do anything about my accounts nd wanted to close all my accounts because they did nothing to help a pensioner. John
