Seriously good app. I usually use one of those PIN creating keypads. As an alternative, I downloaded the app, verified my ID (passport & face scan), and was able to log in. Exactly the good mobile banking experience I needed.

List of things I've seen that HSBC, unlike every other banking app, can't develop a solution for, and will instead block access entirely: - Using an alternative keyboard. - Having a password manager installed. - Other apps installed from outside the Play Store. - App installed in a work profile. - App installed in a Secure Folder.

New (forced) update won't allow the app to run from the Private Space on my phone. The reply from HSBC below doesn't say why they seem to think that the double locked part of my phone is a security risk. I don't want to install it outside the private space, as it's less secure.
