I first left a 1-star review in frustration, I'm now leaving a 4, only reason it is not getting the extra is because of the lack of instructions on how to set it up. First of you need to connect to your fires Wi-Fi ours is (halo) and then open the app, once you are on the app go into settings a put your username details in and then connect to your homes Wi-Fi on the settings tab, once done the app then becomes more consistent and more reliable. I would have given a 5-star appraisal, once installed it looks fantastic. The 4 stars, are due to trying to connect It's great, when you know how to connect the app. I didn't realize, and maybe Evo could put it in their literature. That when you access the E Series on your broadband setting, ignore it when it states no internet. It is actually connected, then go to you E Smart app and then it works great. Once you have inputted all the data, it reverts to your normal broadband supplier.

Cannot give a zero rating to evoke. Do not go near them. It's a scam. You will not be able to connect to thier app as it won't download. Evoke fires are ornamental only.

This has to be one of the most useless apps I have ever had the misfortune of downloading. I couldn't connect, and app keeps telling me to turn off/on fireplace to reboot. Fortunately, my Gilmour 6 comes with a remote. Judging by the reviews of evonic fire suites, the remote should easily outlive it.

As others have said the app is useless, won't connect to Wi-Fi, I changed my Wi-Fi to 2.4ghz, still won't connect. The only way to operate the fire is to log on to the fires own Wi-Fi. Needs changing. I rang the company, they were no help.
