I am connected to my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. PROS: Displays estimated tank capacity (full, 2/3, 1/3, empty). History of energy usage, by day, week, month in Kwh. I can see how someone taking a long shower draws down the tank, and how long it takes to recover. I can change the tank operation mode on the fly, from heat pump to hybrid to electric only. CONS: Actual tank water temperatures are not provided. "Energy saving mode" is a lie. Heat pump mode is actually more energy efficient.

Decent app. I like being able to change temperature and heating mode. I'd upgrade to 5 star if/when the app can tell you the temperature of the tank. The 1/3 full, 2/3 full doesn't mean anything to me. There obviously is a thermometer in the water heater so the heating mode knows when to turn off. Add the feature where this would show on the app.

App doesn't work. You can't change any settings from the app. You can't change temperature, can't change heat or cool mode, can't change fan speed, can't change anything. App serves zero purpose besides you can see what the thermostat is currently set at. Wow, that's great, I already knew what it was set at, I want to change it, oh wait, I can't.

Setting up water heater. The app never shows the home network to connect. This is basic functionality. You should be able to set this by string. Too fancy, gold-plated to connect to unusable
