I am connected to my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. PROS: Displays estimated tank capacity (full, 2/3, 1/3, empty). History of energy usage, by day, week, month in Kwh. I can see how someone taking a long shower draws down the tank, and how long it takes to recover. I can change the tank operation mode on the fly, from heat pump to hybrid to electric only. CONS: Actual tank water temperatures are not provided. "Energy saving mode" is a lie. Heat pump mode is actually more energy efficient.

Decent app. I like being able to change temperature and heating mode. I'd upgrade to 5 star if/when the app can tell you the temperature of the tank. The 1/3 full, 2/3 full doesn't mean anything to me. There obviously is a thermometer in the water heater so the heating mode knows when to turn off. Add the feature where this would show on the app.

Water Heater Wi-Fi Phone Connection. Will not work with Android, Tech support was no help. Apple products only. No help at all. Not able to adjust via phone or away from WH. Total junk.

It took forever working with my internet provider to get thermostat to work now 2 short weeks later it's disconnected from Wi-Fi. There's a terrible disconnect between stat and router. 5Ghz would be nice over 2 4

Aug 2026, another update, another cold shower. Fix the bugs! I've had this water heater for almost 8 years now, and since ownership I have been waking up to it randomly being in energy saving mode. It says that the schedule has been overridden. I have reset the water heater, Wi-Fi and app and no change. I am sick of taking cold showers!!!

Samsung Galaxy Note 22 on Android 16, VERY unreliable for connecting to a home Wi-Fi network. I tried WPA3, WPA2 both with AES encryption, a dedicated 2.4. Ghz network frequency and the Eco Net software could see but not connect to my Wi-Fi 6 home network. My experience is similar to others from what I have read today, unfortunately. Do better Rheem, I have a new electric water heater and this is the best you can offer from your company? Uninstalling and completely useless!
