Decent app. I like being able to change temperature and heating mode. I'd upgrade to 5 star if/when the app can tell you the temperature of the tank. The 1/3 full, 2/3 full doesn't mean anything to me. There obviously is a thermometer in the water heater so the heating mode knows when to turn off. Add the feature where this would show on the app.

I am connected to my Rheem hybrid heat pump water heater. PROS: Displays estimated tank capacity (full, 2/3, 1/3, empty). History of energy usage, by day, week, month in Kwh. I can see how someone taking a long shower draws down the tank, and how long it takes to recover. I can change the tank operation mode on the fly, from heat pump to hybrid to electric only. CONS: Actual tank water temperatures are not provided. "Energy saving mode" is a lie. Heat pump mode is actually more energy efficient.

Tried to create an account and set up the water heater a couple of years ago when I bought the water heater. I couldn't connect the water heater, and when I called, they said that they had some software bugs to work out and would call me back. They never called me back, and I forgot about it. Here it is, at least 2 years later, and I forgot my password and tried to reset it and the stupid app will not recognize any password that it allowed me to create successfully. The app sucks, water htr great

it's following the schedule, but now I can't manually change the temperature on need basis, like a work schedule change for a certain day.

Same problem as everyone else can't control my thermostat or my water heater remotely. Talked with technical support and have ticket in for this problem. Not had this problem with Honeywell thermostat.

With the most current Wi-Fi router, the setup was not straightforward and difficult to figure out. Even HVAC company trained techs could not figure it out. It seems Eco Net has some work to do.
