Having just moved from Ovo, I'm very disappointed with the Ecotricity app. It hides your detailed bill amongst the big list of daily meter readings. It doesn't show your usage on a monthly/weekly/daily basis, doesn't update your balance on a daily or even weekly basis, and it won't scroll back far enough in the smart meter readings to even let you work out your usage over a month. Pretty useless for anyone who has a smart meter and pays by direct debit.

Very minimal functionality that barely works which is a shame because Ecotricity is otherwise an excellent company to suppoty. The Octopus Energy app lets you see your energy usage and spend within custom timeframes. This lets you look at your bills and pay them, although whether it can load your bill is another matter, depends on how it's feeling
