★★☆☆☆ Rates are not accurate which makes this app almost useless. EX: Does not take into account fees charged by Western Union which changes the real exchange rate. 18.5 is really 18.445 for $1000, 18.279 for $250, etc. WU is SOMETIMES the best value if you can wait 4–5 days on transfers over $275. For faster or smaller transfers the exchange rate drops significantly. TransferWise charges a slightly varying fee of ~1%, but this app shows 2.05% less than the best companies rate. Shows 18.12% realized for posted 18.48. Actual is 18.297%. TransferWise rates change in real time, but the calculation error is always there in this app. Only checked the 2 companies above and both were wrong for a transfer from the United States to México (USD to MXN) so did not bother checking further. Cannot sort by cost of transaction. Fastest and cheapest way to transfer within the US is 2 PayPal accounts linked to bank accounts. Almost instant and free or a bank account to a PayPal debit card. Free and instantaneous. International transfers are expensive.
