One of the easiest apps or service to use. It not always the best rates, but sometimes it is better value especially when sending small amounts to mobile wallets as other services generally charge a fee and Pangaea does not. I would sometimes add the cost of that fee and often times come out better using Pangaea...

I used to like this app, everyone always suggested Xoom or Wise for transfers, and I always spoke highly about Pangaea. However, I have recently noticed that receiving a promo code made my conversion rate worse, basically making up for any promo they give you. Then at another time, I received a promo code via email from Pangaea and the code didn't work, I sent an email, they asked me to call. I call, and they say it's expired, even though it's not. Why send a promo if you're not going to honor it?

I sent two transfers, initially they were "successful" only to be canceled minutes later without reason, they only advised me to "try again" lol no, thanks. It has now been 5 business days and only the smaller of the two transfers have been refunded. I sent this money to another country, that I am now in, to spend. Thanks to Pangaea I am now abroad with no money, forced to use my credit card! I DO NOT recommend Pangaea, this was the first and most definitely last time I will be using this service.
