A really wonderful app for improving Japanese pronunciation and speaking confidence. As a beginner Fluency Tool is more approachable than Aomi, and more thoughtfully structured than Glossika - with the sentence length and difficulty much less daunting. The immediate feedback is really useful for fine-tuning pronunciation. It's good to hear straight away what sounds good, and what needs a little more practice. The feedback brings fast improvement. A fantastic edition to my 日本語 toolkit!

Developer quickly responded and worked on fixing an issue, I appreciate the effort and changed to 5 stars. There are other minor issues, but I will keep using the app, it's decent speech practice for someone like myself that doesn't have any real native speakers to practice with.

The app idea is great but the execution is pretty poor. The app locks up when displaying ads approximately 50% of the time. And the ASR is just Google's native ASR which does a really bad job of picking up single words rather than sentences. This makes it rather frustrating when in the early stages, and it is giving you words rather than sentences or phrases. Also, the app developer has posts on Reddit where they state that the ads are cranked up to be annoying, so you will buy the full version.
