Overall, it’s a good and fairly stable app. It would be great if it could send push notifications to the phone whenever there are transactions on the account. That would be really helpful. It would also be a big improvement if it didn’t depend on the Postbank app for the card to be compatible with Google Pay/Wallet, so we wouldn’t need to have two separate apps for the same account.
Very disappointing experience with First. I applied for a business account, submitted all required documents, and was rejected. A company representative explicitly told me the reason was my nationality (Nigerian). If true, this raises serious concerns about discriminatory practices. If the decision is based on compliance or risk policies, it should be applied fairly and communicated transparently, not tied to nationality. Failed on video validation during the GmbH account opening. Refused to perform video validation with Russian passport and German permit. Suggested to do post validation, which is absolutely not obvious how to do. So, gave up with account opening, looks like a hidden discrimination to me.

First uses WebID for video identification. My wife was treated like an idiot when she tried to legitimate herself for an account via WebID. The female agent sounded annoyed from the start. The whole process was dehumanizing. I have not seen such an incompetent, insulting behavior in my life. It was horrible. This company is dead to me.
