Once I read a few forums and reviews it was best to connect my smartphone to the bikes ccu with an usb-c to USB-C lead and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi was just awful, had to enter password every time even though I had to connect automatically ticked. What would give this 5 stars is if the motorize app could be available on a Carplay/Android auto device then your phone could be stowed away safely, and you can do all the functionality on a securely mounted dedicated screen.

I've used Garmin satnavs for a while, and so I was happy to have it on the new bike. Set up on my new Tracer 9Gt was quite straight forward. I've used it a few times now whilst im running the bike in and its works fine. I find it best to set/register the destination on the phone beforehand, so you can select it in favorites or history once you're on the bike, all plugged in and ready to set off.

Paired with a Tracer 9 GT, need "data cable" and Wi-Fi to be connected (Mirror). Not connection friendly, I don't always have immediate connection on the first try. Using the toggle button seem lag and best to set on your phone first before riding off. I accidentally escape out from navigation and connecting back is a problem, got to stop and try after few attempts (Restart everything Best- hand phone holder, it will be faster to set navigation on phone than going through this app.

Have it on Galaxy s22 connected to new Yamaha Tracer 9gt+ via my ride link. Works mostly ok using Wi-Fi hotspot on bike but continually disconnects when using USB link. Tried different usb cables but same result. Having to use Wi-Fi hotspot means no Internet data available. Similar problems have been reported on TMAX with no solution

I use this app for my Tracer 9 GT from 2025, but I heavily dislike it mainly cuz the overlay feels very old, searching a place is not easy and if I export it from (google) maps I always ending up in France it's not a place i want to be nor is it close to the location I need to be (im from the Netherlands and driving in there) I even tried to reinstall it and still the same problems, the only thing it did was removing my favorites and nothing else improved... please Garmin fix it
