Garmin StreetCross is a navigation app specifically designed for motorcycles. This app will only work in combination with the compatible models below.
To see if your YAMAHA motorcycle is compatible with the app, please refer to the owner's manual or the product information page for your model.
The navigation operations can be done via motorcycle handlebar during the ride.

Key Features Garmin Real Directions Get spoken turn-by-turn directions through your connected helmet or headset. Meanwhile, navigation features are projected to motorcycle meter panel when smartphone is connected to motorcycle via Bluetooth®.
Live Traffic Avoid traffic delays and find timesaving detours to help keep you on your way with live traffic updates.
PhotoReal Junction View It displays the appropriate lane to drive in during an active route. Junction view realistically depicts junctions and interchanges along your route, including road signs and the surrounding landscape; A brightly colored arrow indicates the lane needed for your next turn or exit.
Rider Alerts Get alerts for speed zones along your route. You'll be notified about speed limit, speed camera, and school zones.
Live Weather Show weather, temperature along the ride.
Share the Ride Share tracks with fellow riders by sending GPX files.
*Some navigation features are not available in all regions.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Excellent app for my Yamaha Xmax. Accurate traffic information and tailback avoidance. The only downside is that it forgets that you can filter traffic jams.

I just treated myself to the new yamaha nmax v3 because of the GPS capability. After reading the reviews here I was a little bit apprehensive about his working. After riding around for 5 days and using it continuously I didn't have the problems that others have been having or experiencing. The only problem I have been experiencing some of the names of the roads are Incorrect. For instance where I live it does not show the name of the road I live on. Other than that it works fine.

Useless, please update the maps im using nmax tech max in philippines we pay for the navigation features on nmax tech max but the map is not updated

If you're about to buy a Yamaha motorcycle because it has Nav, don't. This app is so much worse than Google Maps, or whatever the iPhone version is that I've used one or twice. Garmin hasn't updated since the 00s, it feels like. The only predictable way to find anything is to get the street address from Google Maps and plug it in. Garmin doesn't recognize any of the Express Lanes in the D.C. area.
