The app is glitchy. Initially, it didn't detect the probe. I had to force the app to close and restart the app for it to detect the probe successfully. After it's paired, the temperature sensors worked.

Probe links ok via Bluetooth, but app crashes when trying to connect. Terrible app. Does not work !

Terrible app, cannot connect with probe. I've uninstalled and reinstalled various times but still not working. Very disappointed that I bought this probe. Will revert to my old manual thermometer.

I will not give you permission to use my contacts, photos or my location. I avoid app that ask for these permissions for no good reason. Those permissions have nothing to do with how hot my food is. I bought three of these for gifts, and I will be returning all three. I don't want my children tracked either. I will purchase thermometers from an American company next time.

If I hadn't gotten this as a gift I would return it and spend on a better supported app. The app works in that it reads temp and is accurate but the alert function only uses vibrate and can't ring. Also, it requiring permissions to contacts/video etc. is concerning. Not having any more app updates since 2020 is a clear warning sign. Also FYI the probe Bluetooth range is not great and the stated 4-hour battery life is not long enough for most cooks.
