Does as expected. Update March 2022: crashes more than I would like. Very frustrating. Update Jan 2025: all PayPal transactions just show up as "PayPal". If my other banking apps can manage to include a description eg "PayPal * Chiltern PP", then I see no reason why the Halifax can't do the same to save customers having to log into two apps to check their transactions.

APP RUBBISH & customer service poor. My phone frequently freezes when app is used. And I have 3 Reward accounts each with debit cards. "Manage Card" - "Card Details" lets me see card & CV numbers & expiry, but v unhelpfully what account is linked to each card is not shown. I used in-app messaging to pass feedback back, but Halifax rejected it telling me to phone instead - which invariably means wasting half an hour being bounced between customer service reps, thus I've been fobbed off 💩💩💩💩
