HINT Control is a cross-platform, open-source app for viewing advanced gateway data and controlling hidden settings. It supports Arcadyan KVD21, Arcadyan TMOG4AR, Sagemcom Fast 5688W, Sercomm TMOG4SE, and Nokia 5G21 gateways, with Askey TM-RTL0102 not controllable. Note: don’t disable 2.4GHz/5GHz radios if you don’t have a wired connection.

Absolutely Love this app. I keep it running 24/7 on my phone. I was able to see signal strength data drop in real-time when my Gateway suddenly switched cells. The app let me easily see that rebooting the gateway restored the connection to the more powerful cell. I like that the app displays both the numerical signal strengths and the over-time graphical signal strength display. It would be great if I could select which items are displayed on the main screen.

App won't allow for 5ghz radio to be turned kff. A warning pops up stating "Unable to disable 5GHz!". I have a router directly connect and am I looking to turn off all Wi-Fi radio. App will allow for 2.4GHz radio to be disabled. (TMO-G4SE)

I thought the whole point of this app was to be able to turn the Wi-Fi radios off and on??? Well, no way! You cannot turn off the 5G because it hangs up the router. So, what good is it? I want to be in control of my Wi-Fi. If I'm using Ethernet, and I don't want to be pounded by the Wi-Fi, would be nice to have the ability to shut it off and still continue using the Ethernet. That's all.
