SAFE DRIVERS
holoholo rideshare drivers have at least three years of driving experience, and must pass a driver history review and quarterly background checks. We offer riders the ability to share your trip details with friends and family, submit driver ratings, and get emergency help in the rider app. We also comply with all current CDC and local health guidelines including face coverings and social distancing.

We have fixed, upfront pricing, and we never implement surge prices no matter where or when you travel in Hawaii. No wait time charges or cancellation fees either. The price you see is what you pay!

It's unfair for me to review this app. I don't live on O'ahu. Might be useful for residents and travelers to O'ahu. However, I'm sure Las Vegas is not a ride-share pick up or drop off unless you start ride-sharing with airline pilots, and technically you could consider flights to be a ride-share; smile. Psst also Thebes brads and vistas. Installed and Opened. UI looked good so far; smile. Might want to rename to simply HoloHolo.

For the time being, the app is great for scheduled pick-ups, which works for visitors who plan on taking a lot of tours/appointments/airport pick-ups. I didn't have much luck for ASAP pick-ups, mostly due to lack of drivers with the app. One thing to note, I prefer holoholo vs. Lyft/Uber because drivers do get paid more % from the fare (heard from drivers themselves; that seems fair). Also, an actual human is behind the customer service line and helps you directly (what?) 😮 Used it in Hawai'i.

Holo works different from Uber and Lyft. They focus on schedule pickups. They don't have surged pricing. They don't charge per minute while stuck in traffic. Their rates are flat rates and don't change on you. The app works perfectly fine if you are on Kauai. The driver's there share aloha and are friendly. I definitely recommend this app if you are on Kauai. The interface does take getting used to if you have used other rideshare apps. Once you figure it out it works fine.

Made a reservation for a short ride hours before the desired pickup time. As we were walking down to meet the driver the admin of the app said the driver had an emergency and cancelled our reservation. I decided not to depend on them to get us a ride to the airport in the morning, and because I made the mistake of already making that reservation, was charged $5 to cancel.

Most rubbish app ever. Ordered a ride at Kona Airport and was given a 5-minute estimate. Waiting over 30 minutes and no ride was ever assigned to me. They don't have any drivers!
