The app works very well. Very easy to set up and control charging from the app, log my spending and usage. Works exactly as I want with the ability to charge in a window and many other useful features. The charger is very impressive and of a high build quality. It is solid and feels robust. Customer service are responsive and helpful. I'm very impressed with Hypervolt.

Devs - could you add the ability to set charge mode by schedule please? E.g. boost mode overnight on cheap tariff and eco-mode during day to use solar? Thanks

Works well using Ethernet and quickly updates schedule from Octopus. I'm on a looped supply so restrict the charge to 4.5kw Octopus occasionally understands this and slightly under charges. Halloween mode definitely works never had so many kids in 40 years nearly ran out of sweets.

Issues Immediately after activation of ultra mode: 1. App states it can't use schedules as update needed. (Already on latest version & so no way to update) 2. App states charger is offline. Can't do anything. Can't charge. 3. Unable to start charge. Hack: set to charge now & hard reset charger. After reset the unit finally charges. It still states its offline, although can now control LED via App whilst it's still saying offline. Nightmare

Overall, I'm not impressed. 1. despite multiple visits from the Octopus electricians and adding a Wi-Fi extender the charger is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to the Wi-Fi. Ps. no other device had an issue with my Wi-Fi. 2. In the cost overview the app shows a cost to solar generated energy used to charge the car. This should be £0! Considering how long this app has been around I am baffled this hasn't been resolved. Ps. I raised a ticket for this with Hypervolt.
