I had the same pairing problem as everyone else. figured out how to pair the igrill classic with my Samsung j3 mission. I powered down the device and turned off Bluetooth on my phone. Then restarting both got it to pair. I didn't need the Weber app or the idevices app so I uninstalled both.

Worthless now IDevices apparently sold off the iGrill products to Weber. I now own two worthless pieces of junk. Can't connect, pairing issues, worthless support page. I praised these items when they first came out, bought many a Christmas gifts for friends, recommended some to out of state people also, now I am very disappointed. Just another Weber product not to buy.

Junk. Horrible instructions to get it started. Then connection to app does not work. Hopefully someone reads this before spending real money on the device.

What Weber did to the Igrill software is unbelievable. This isn't the right software for my igrill2 but the right software shows as incompatible now with my Note 5. Used to work fine. The new software also stripped many features. They ruined the Igrill. Do not buy it!!
