The app is pretty awesome! It does exactly what they say it does. It keeps time with the $250,000 doppler system we have at work. They should have just got this app. I'm using a Note 3.

Doesn't gather data very quickly With a t-storm right above me with many lightning strikes within a few miles the map indicated closest at 145 miles. Other APK showed within 1 mile. As it stands can't recommend.

Not acceptable Wanted an app to help me detect lightning approaching my area while at sea. Downloaded app during thunderstorms in my area. App says nearest strikes are over 150 miles away. Only problem is I can see lightning strikes outside my kitchen window. That's not going to work for me.
