It works. For those that had a problem with this app, the account for the lock & Alert and the account for the My Equifax are two different things, so this means that you have to create 2 account for each, just use the same email on both and different password. I had the same problem, and thought I could sign in with My Equifax account

Trash. Can't log in using existing Equifax account. Also, won't let me sign up to create one for the app itself. Uninstalling as it's unusable.

The mobile app systematically rejects my password and email login credentials, but never by laptop/website. I feel it's trying to force me to use biometrics--a cheap trick to frustrate normally acceptable login procedures via cell.

I had trouble logging into this app as it did not take my credentials for the Equifax desktop website. The Captcha verification was buggy, but I was eventually able to create an account within the app. However, once created, I am not able to lock and unlock my credit using the app because my credit is frozen. Equifax does not allow a lock and a freeze to be active at the same time. This app only allows for the locking and unlocking of your credit, not freezing and thawing of your credit.
