I got a new MACYS credit card, and I have to go into the store to pay. I can't see my bill or set up autopay in the app. I called customer service, and it took forever to get ahold of anyone, and then I was hung up on after waiting for 37 minutes, so I called back again and got hung up on for over an hour waiting on the phone. Finally, the 3rd call dude promised me he wouldn't hang up. After another 43 minutes he decided to say it's his fault and that It's because it a new account it won't come up LIES

My review is for the Macy's credit card which is part of the app. There is no way to lock your card when not in use and the purchase notifications do not work. My card was used in Guatemala (my physical card has never been lost) a place I've never been, and I never got a notification even though foreign purchases was turned on in account management. So, it obviously doesn't work. This needs to be looked at and fixed. The ability to turn cards on and off is basic, all my other cards have it. Fix.

Now that Macy's has changed their return policy to one month, I'm never going to shop again after holding a Macy's card for 18 years. I'm totally done. There are no clear return instructions when you buy things online from Macy's, so I don't even know how to return their merchandise And there isn't a store close to me. So with a one-month return window screw the store.
