It's atrocious that this app is even a part of the process of picking up their packages. But although their customer support experience is terrible, got to give credit where credit is due. I reached out to them and actually got my problem solved. A problem that existed entirely because the app was a requirement for picking up my package... But yea, would prefer if this app didn't exist.

Functional, but with serious issues with working principles. To get a package from a drop off location it requires you to install the app, allow Bluetooth and location. This could have been done in so many ways to not need this level of exposure. I would not be surprised if this data is being used for data mining.

Just purely designed to collect your data. There should be no reason to download an app, registering your account with an email, enabling your location and turning on Bluetooth just to fetch a parcel you have paid for delivery-wise. This should be unacceptable, I hope people vote with their feet and boicot Matkahuolto for their malpractice.
