Seems like it's not possible to use the app on a rooted device. And with the upcoming enforcement of passkeys, the web login is no longer an option unless you purchase extra 2FA Hardware. Great. I get that SMS sucks as a second factor, but why can't I just use my own 2FA app instead? And no, looking at your FAQ regarding passkeys on Linux, storing the second factor in the same password manager where I'm storing my password kinda ruins the purpose entirely.

The app is very slow and too complicated to access to read the messages Barmer sent. It took me 20 minutes, and I still couldn't access the messages in the Barmer app. Instead of sending the email notifying I have a message to check in the app, why don't you send the message directly via email to save time and unnecessary efforts???

It's ridiculous. We want to see the results from our pregnancy test. We have to download a second Barmer app. To login, we need a pin which we received by regular mail 3 years ago. Who knows where that letter is. There's also the option to request a new pin. You have to download a third app for this. In that app, which doesn't appear to be related to Barmer, you have to log in. With what account details? Who knows?! 30 minutes trying to see the results without success. I gave up. This is surreal.
