Yes! Finally! All the features of MINI connected are now available to android users. Thanks! Works great on my 2020 Clubman JCW. Not sure all the negative reviews, make sure your vehicle have the options required. Note! For Remote Services functionality in the app, vehicles (produced in March 2018 and onward) will need to be equipped with 7GK / 7GH / 6AK / 6AP. Using Remote Services requires an active MINI Connected subscription.

After reading some recent review, I think some issues need to be clarified a bit. You need the appropriate Connect options on your MINI. You need to activate the Connect option in your vehicles's setup menus. Up thru the 2018 model year, your MINI doesn't have the hardware required to support a wireless data connection (BT is voice only). No app can change that !!! For this, your only choice is a wired data connection (ie, using USB). On my 2016, I have the Connect option, I activated it, and I plug my phone in using USB. With this app it allows me to use features like accessing my Google Calendar on the dash's center 8.8" screen, and link my calendar into my NAV system for guidance to my scheduled events. Works great.

I had nothing but issues so I uninstalled the app. It constantly asks you to log in every time, it wouldn't register my Clubman using vin, but each time I'd connect it in the car it could connect and get my details. The fact there's no android auto or Spotify connection just makes it pretty pointless. You expect more when you have a premium vehicle!

2020 Mini S, app won't register my vin. Says call customer service but can't find a number to even call. Not even sure I need the app since I don't really know what it does. Shouldn't all new Minis come with Connected?

The app just updated last week - awesome! I updated the software in the car today - again, awesome. And yet, it's still just a gas gauge. Not even a new & improved gas gauge! No ventilate, no locking of doors, no finding the car....nothing wireless! For anyone who says it works, explain what that means. Yes, the gas gauge works, but shouldn't we expect more? Does your app show something other than a gas gauge - mine doesn't. Giving it 5 stars & saying it works is meaningless. With navigation, you're better off using your phone's maps to avoid the cable. I was REALLY hoping for a tiny improvement, but, once again, I was let down. Why even bother updating the gas gauge app? You know, you would have been more respectable & honest to your customers if you had just called the app Mini Gas Gauge app. Calling it connected is a slap in our faces and borders on deceit. If you're thinking about buying a mini, make sure to get the one called Ford.
